Mallcom Adds Social Networking to Online Stores

NEW YORK — Mallcom announced today that its network of affiliate stores now share links on more than 335 social bookmarking websites.

Affiliates and visitors to any of the company's online store pages including DVDs, toys, porn stars, studios and various genres can now be linked to popular social networks including Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Google Buzz, Blogger, Delicious, Reddit and more.

The company explained that the shared links that appear on each page automatically populate the affiliate’s ID and/or their co-branded web address to keep accurate tracking for all sales that come from the social networking sites by way of social sharing of visitors.

Mallcom said that by tapping the hundreds of millions of social networking consumers it will offer affiliates higher profits through a "successful viral marketing advantage added into their store pages."

“Networking is important in sales. It is a hidden fact that people will trust buying from new sources if other people suggested it to them through their Facebook profiles, Twitter tweets, Blogger news or even Digg suggestions," Mallcom affiliate manager Ric said.

He added, "The main reason behind our decision to adding social networking to our store pages is so that our affiliate partners will now have a major source for incoming traffic without spending any money towards advertising.”
